The inaugural Jones Cup Junior Invitational, following in the footsteps of the Jones Cup Invitational, will be held December 20-22, 2009 on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club.
The Jones Cup Junior Invitational will feature the nation’s top male junior golfers ages 15-18. The winner of the 54-hole stroke play competition will receive an exemption to participate in the heralded Jones Cup Invitational to be contested at Ocean Forest February 4-7, 2010.
Invitations for the Jones Cup Junior Invitational will be mailed in September and are based on Polo Golf Rankings, Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings and the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Rankings.
The Jones Cup Junior Invitational is a Junior Golf Scorboard, Golfweek, and AJGA ranked event.
