Disney was magical for several junior golfers this past weekend at the sixth annual Optimist International Tournament of Champions on Disney’s Palm Golf Course at Walt Disney World.

Local golfer Harrison Winger of Orlando took first place in the boys 16-18 division. Winger had two eagles and three birdies in the first round on Saturday to go 6-under for the day with a 66. He continued to dominate in the second and final round with seven birdies and a 68 for the day. Winger finished with a 66-68—134, 10 under par and six strokes ahead of the competition. In the boys 14-15 division, Evan Deroche of Key West shot a second-round 67 to take the championship. His two-day total was 75-67—142, two under par. Deroche tied for third in the boys 14-15 division of the 2009 Tournament of Champions.
