"The Red Bull Final 5~2007 CollegeBoundGolfers.com ZELOCITY Players Championship" tees up this weekend at the prestigious Grand Palms Golf Club Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is the first of 6 showcase events scheduled for 2007. We are returning to the Grand Palms Resort in 2007 because of the challenging layout and excellent playing conditions during this time of the year. This 54 hole Championship event will be held on February 17th , 18th, & 19th during the President’s Day holiday weekend.

The tournament is open only to High School students in the Classes of 2007, 2008, 2009, & 2010. The field has been limited to 72 players and the field is FULL. College Bound Golfers from 23 states, the UK and China are all hoping to "GET NOTICED". What is the Red Bull Final 5?

How many times have you had a good round of golf going, only to make mistakes over the last 5 holes? You are not alone. The final 5 holes in a round of golf are statistically where golfers of all levels tend to make mistakes due to physical and mental fatigue.

The Red Bull Final 5 is a very simple concept – essentially a tournament within a tournament – that rewards the golfer(s) with the best score over the final 5 holes. At some point on the 13th hole, the golfer can prepare themselves for the final 5 holes with a ice cold can of Red Bull to improve performance… then on the 14th begin the Red Bull Final 5.

Two-Day Mini School
This program includes 6 complete hours of instruction that is available 9 a.m. to Noon or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a very popular program for those who are interested in receiving instruction on both their full swing and their short game. School entails comprehensive computer and video analysis, a club fitting evaluation, as well as a detailed plan for improvement. School is limited to 4 students per session.

* Lowest score from each College Bound Golfers.com Tournament will qualify. Lowest score of all qualified will win the prize. (1 girl and 1 boy). Ties will be broken by…A MATCH OF THE SCORECARDS FROM THE 18TH HOLE GOING BACKWARDS.
